All Allies agree that Ukraine will join NATO — Stoltenberg

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg makes the announcement during a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defence in the Ramstein format in Brussels.
According to Stoltenberg, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have exceeded all expectations and recaptured 50% of the territory that was occupied by Russia since February last year.
He adds that Russia has become militarily and economically weaker and isolated politically, but there are no signs that the Russian president has given up his ambitions.
"The stronger Ukraine is on the battlefield, the stronger Ukraine's position will be at any negotiating table. We must do everything to prevent history from repeating itself, so all Allies have agreed that Ukraine will become a NATO member," Jens Stoltenberg says.
