Canada expands sanctions list against Russia
The Government of Canada has expanded the sanctions list against Russian individuals and legal entities.
This was reported by the Canadian government.
This time, 19 individuals were sanctioned. Among them are the leaders of the Wagner PMC in the Central African Republic, Mali and Sudan. In particular, these are Ivan Maslov, who manages mercenaries in Mali, as well as Andrei Mandel and Mikhail Potepkin, who are involved in the activities of the Wagnerites in the Central African Republic, and Dmitry Sytyi, who leads militants in Sudan. Earlier, the British government also imposed sanctions on these individuals.
Among the legal entities sanctioned are Tinkoff Bank, Bank Tochka, Mir and Yandex Pay payment systems, MTS, Beeline and Megafon, etc. In total, 20 legal entities were included in the list.
