Ministry of Culture recommends exhibiting monuments related to Soviet and Russian history and having an artistic and historical value in museums
On October 28, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy expert council on overcoming the consequences of Russification and totalitarianism provided recommendations on specific categories of monuments and memorials related to Russian and Soviet imperial history.
The presence in the Ukrainian public space of monuments to persons associated with the history and culture of the Russian Empire or the USSR and who participated in propaganda is unacceptable.
However, if such monuments have artistic and historical value, they should be "holistically presented in museum spaces with appropriate accompanying materials". Or, when moving to a museum is impossible, these objects can be covered with temporary structures to avoid acts of vandalism.
