Russian army activates tactical aviation in the direction of Zmiinyi Island — Humeniuk

The head of the Joint Coordination Press Centre of the Southern Defense Forces, Nataliia Humeniuk, said that Russians have activated tactical aviation in the direction of Zmiinyi (Snake) Island.

Natalia Humeniuk said this during the national telethon.

According to her, the Russians occasionally drop guided bombs there to affect civilian maritime traffic.

"This is all a continuation of the pressure on civilian shipping, the humanitarian corridor offered by Ukraine, after all, four ships used it. The enemy is trying to terrorise by convincing shipowners that there is a threat from the air," said Humeniuk.

She added that the presence of tactical aircraft over this part of the Black Sea may also indicate intelligence gathering.
