South Korea to provide Ukraine with $2.3 billion in additional aid

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has announced the allocation of $2.3 billion in additional aid to Ukraine.
Yonhap News Agency reported this.
The country will allocate the first $300 million in 2024 in the form of humanitarian aid and the remaining $2 billion in 2025 as long-term assistance.
"This will demonstrate our responsible role as a global pivotal state in leading assistance for the restoration of peace in Ukraine and lay the foundation for our full-fledged participation in Ukraine's future reconstruction," the President said.
It will be recalled that on July 15, the Presidents of Ukraine and South Korea met in Kyiv. At a joint press conference, Yoon Suk Yeol said South Korea would increase military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
