The United Nations will allocate $123 million to temporarily displaced persons in Ukraine to help them get through the winter.
The UN press service reported this.
The assistance will be provided from September 2023 to February 2024. The organisation will distribute heaters and non-food items and provide housing for internally displaced persons.
The UN will also allocate more than $5 million to refugees in Moldova to help them get through the winter.
In total, about 900,000 people affected by the war will receive assistance.
It will be recalled that the UN and the World Health Organisation delivered a convoy of aid to frontline Avdiivka, Donetsk region.
