Yaroslava Mahuchikh wins the third stage of the Diamond League in Brussels

Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh won gold at the Brussels Diamond League third stage.

This is evidenced by the results of the stage published on the Diamond League website.

Mahuichih was the only one to perform a jump of 2.0 metres. She beat Serbian Angelina Topić.

Eleanor Patterson from Australia won the bronze medal. Ukrainian Iryna Herashchenko took fourth place.

This is Mahuchikh's third victory of the season. After her victory in Brussels, the athlete received eight points and moved up to second place in the Diamond League 2023 high jump rankings. 

Iryna Herashchenko, who earned five points after the Brussels stage, holds the top spot.

The 2023 Diamond League Super Final will take place on September 16-17 in Eugene, USA.

On September 7, 2023, the President of Ukraine awarded Yaroslava Mahuchikh with the Order of Princess Olha, II class, for her high sporting achievements at the 3rd European Games in Kraków.

It will be reminded, Yaroslava Mahuchikh became the world champion in the high jump. In Eugene, the athlete will defend her current title.
