President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has responded to the situation in Russia, where an 'armed mutiny' is taking place.

He announced this on his Telegram channel.

According to the President, the longer Russia keeps its troops and mercenaries in the territory of Ukraine, the more chaos it will create in its territory.

"Russia has long disguised its weakness and stupidity of its rule with propaganda. And now there is so much chaos that no amount of lies can hide it. And all this is due to one person who scares us again and again with 1917, although he is not able to lead to anything else at all," he said.

Zelenskyy added that Ukraine maintains strength, unity and power, and military commanders "know what to do".
