Armenia and the US to hold joint military exercises

Armenia and the United States will hold joint military exercises Eagle Partner 2023.

The Ministry of Defence of Armenia reported this.

The exercises will take place from September 11 to 20 at the Zar Training Centre.

The exercises include stabilisation actions between the conflicting parties during peacekeeping missions.

The aim of the exercise is to increase the level of interoperability of units participating in international peacekeeping missions, exchange experience in command and control and tactical communications, and improve the readiness of the Armenian units for planned combat operations.

It will be recalled that the Prime Minister of Armenia has recently stated that his country's dependence on Russia is a strategic mistake.
