Russia, Belarus and Guatemala not invited to participate in the Olympic Games in 2024

The International Olympic Committee did not invite Russia, Belarus and Guatemala to participate in the Olympic Games in 2024.

This was reported on the IOC website.

Invitations to Paris were sent to the National Olympic Committees of 203 countries.

At the same time, the IOC will still decide on the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes under a "neutral flag".

The Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024, in Paris.

On January 25, the IOC proposed to allow Belarusian and Russian athletes to participate in the Games under a neutral flag.

In April, the Ministry of Youth and Sports banned Ukrainian national teams from participating in competitions with Russians and Belarusians.
