Ukraine's defence forces step up Russian attacks in the Pokrovske direction, Donetsk region
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east, Russians attacked the settlements of Vovchansk, Borova, Cherkaski Tyshky, Borivska Andriivka, and Staryi Saltiv with missiles, guided bombs, and artillery. One person was killed and seven were wounded, including a child.
In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, Russians launched 1982 attacks on the towns of Bilozerske, Zalizne, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Toretsk, the residential settlements of Raihorodok, Yampil, and the villages of Vovche, Hannivka, Karpivka, Nove, and Staryi Karavan. Five people were wounded: two in Bilozerske, two in Zalizne, and one in Vovche.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied, Russians shelled Nevske, Stelmakhivka, Kuzemivka, Makiivka, and Hrekivka with Grad multiple rocket launchers, aircraft, artillery, and mortars. There were no casualties. According to the regional military administration, “Russians are gradually destroying Nevske, every house is damaged.”
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, southcentral Ukraine, Russians conducted 12 attacks on Nikopol, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located, using artillery and attack drones. Private houses were damaged, but no casualties were reported. Also, the Russian army shelled the Marhanets community on the night of June 3 with artillery, leaving no casualties.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, in the south, which has been partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army launched 420 artillery, aviation and drone strikes on Novoandriivka, Malynivka and Levadne, Huliaipole, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Stepnohirsk and Nove Zaporizhzhia. The regional military administration reported no casualties.
In the Mykolaiv region, in the south of Ukraine, Russians shelled the waters of the Ochakiv community with artillery. There were no casualties.
Russians shelled Tokarivka, Dudchany, Antonivka, Kizomys, Beryslav, Novokaiiry, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Olhivka, Tiahynka, Novotiahynka, Berehove, Inzhenerne, Poniativka and the city of Kherson in the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, with artillery, aircraft and guided bombs. Private houses, a medical facility, and a gas pipeline were damaged. There were no casualties.
Russians shelled the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk communities in the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, with attack drones, mortars and artillery. There were no casualties.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russian army targeted the Myropillia, Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Mykolaiv, Shostka, Esman, Shalyhyne, Velyka Pysarivka, and Novoslobidka communities with attack drones, mortars, and artillery. No information on casualties was received.
