Ukrainian troops repelled Russian attacks near Bakhmut, Zaitseve, Avdiivka, Mykolaivka Druha and Novomykhailivka

On September 16, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed one Russian Su-24 aircraft and struck at 9 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces, three strongholds, a rear control point and two positions of anti-aircraft missile systems.

During September 16, the Russian army carried out four missile and twenty-four air strikes, as well as made seventy-two rocket artillery attacks on military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine.
