Volodymyr Zelenskyy holds a conversation with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted this on his social media.
During the conversation, they discussed the security situation in Ukraine. Zelenskyy informed Trudeau about Russian attacks on Ukraine.
They also discussed work on security guarantees for Ukraine. Zelenskyy and Trudeau agreed the Ukrainian and Canadian sides would "intensify bilateral dialogue shortly to reach an agreement".
"I am grateful to Justin for his willingness to help strengthen the protection of Ukrainian skies, particularly for the supply of additional NASAMS and missiles to them," Zelenskyy added.
In addition, the parties also discussed preparations for the fourth meeting of advisers working to implement the Peace Formula. The meeting will take place in mid-January in Davos.
